Synopsis
Every year in Eid animals are sacrificed for Eid or Kurban Bayrami. Kurban follows the celebration in Turkey and explores what devotion meant for the people practicing sacrifice.

Nevra Topcu
Nevra is a London based Turkish filmmaker and founder of Folie a Deux Productions: video production company sepcialised in educational and promotional video content. She has an extensive academic background in film production; after completing Film and TV Production degree at University of Westminster with distinction she went onto study an MA in Film and Philosophy at Kings College London. In her work she often explores gender and power dynamics, pushing the limits with regards to film as a medium and challenge the audience on the borderline between fantasy and reality.
