Synopsis
The documentary “Mankind” follows the ex-convicts who try to complete their mandatory working time under probation by staging a theater play. While witnessing the encounter of actors who have no previous stage experience with an experienced theater actress, it also makes the actors think about the concepts discussed in the play.

Neslihan Şeref Akpınar
Born in 1977 in İskenderun, completed her undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Communication, her master's degree in METU Media and Cultural Studies Major, and her proficiency in art at Marmara University Institute of Fine Arts Cinema-TV Department. Since 2014, she has been working at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema-TV.
