Synopsis
In Turkey, scriptwriters of mainstream TV series are struggling with many difficulties such as RTÜK censorship, pressures of producers and rating measurements, episode durations of 140 minutes and working without an insurance.In this documentary, the past and present of the history of the domestic TV series are analysed in the light of interviews with seven screenwriters.

Dilara Balcı Gülpınar
She was born in 1985 in İzmir, Turkey. She graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, department of Cinema-TV. During her education, she worked as an assistant director and editor on television productions and directed short films that were screened at various festivals. In 2016 she graduated from Marmara University, Department of Cinema with a PhD degree. She is currently working as an assistant Prof. at Yaşar University. She is the director of several short films such as Institution of the Blind and author of two books that are about the history of Turkish cinema: Being Other in Yeşilçam (Yeşilçam'da Öteki Olmak) and Director Feyzi Tuna (Feyzi Tuna: Her Film Bir İmtihandı).
