Lydia Zimmermann (1966) is a Barcelona-born artist, screenwriter, and filmmaker of Swiss descent. Her work spans shorts, features, documentaries, installations, and VR. She co-directed Aro Tolbukhin, winner of Best Film and Screenplay at Mexico’s Ariel Awards (2002). A former film educator in Haiti and Zurich, she collaborates internationally and continues developing new fiction projects, including Gel.
