The Palace Of The Sunflower Seeds Poster

Synopsis

A man and a woman meet again in the old Cinema Doré at the beginning of the 70s, when the passage of time and the Franco dictatorship had relegated the seventh art to something decadent, allowing only the survival of the regime's films. They had not seen each other since the last premiere seven years earlier. The woman returns to explain the reasons for her running away to the man, what happened shortly before his father-in-law transferred "the Hall" to him. He wanted to turn the Hall into a space dedicated to making public screenings, recovering one of the oldest cinemas of the city to make the cinema conquer the place it deserves as an asset of national and international interest.
