Concrete Sea  Poster

Synopsis

As an exercise of resistance, Sônia follows the process of destruction caused by the sea, which day by day, advances into the beach and approaches her home. She makes daily records of this process and through them builds an emotional bond, a solitary prose that challenges the final tragedy.

Julia Naidin

Julia Naidin (1983) Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Researcher and teacher with publications in Contemporary Philosophy. Since 2017, she develops activities creating methodologies in contemporary art and environmental education through production and curatorial work at the Brazilian artistic residence CasaDuna Centre of Art, Research and Memory in Atafona. "Concrete Sea" (2021) is her first short film.
