Synopsis
Maffy Falay, who passed away in February 2022, was a favorite of legends such as Dizzy Gillespie and Thelonious Monk, and shared the stage with Quincy Jones, Kenny Clarke and Francy Boland. This documentary witnesses the last days of the legendary jazz trumpeter in Stockholm, where he spent most of his life.

Deniz Yüksel graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Cinema department. Obtained master degree from the Fine Arts School of İstanbul Bilgi University and Accademia Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. Beside directing some short movies she produced and directed a feature documentary named ""Maffy's Jazz"" The movie participated in various Film and Jazz Festivals, including Soundscreen International Film Festival Italy where it received The Best Director Award and Boston Turkish Film Festival where it received The Best Documentary Award.
