Nesra Gürbüz
Nesra Gürbüz studied International Relations at METU and completed her MA in Cultural Studies at Bilgi University. She began her producing career in 2012 and participated in platforms like Sarajevo Talent Campus, IDFAcademy, Cinelink (EAVE Award), Holland Film Meeting, and Meetings on the Bridge (CNC Award). She co-produced Sivas, which won the Special Jury Prize at the 2014 Venice Film Festival, and produced Dust Cloth, which premiered at Berlinale 2016 and won multiple awards at the Istanbul Film Festival. In 2019, she founded her production company Monomit Film. Recently, she produced the short films Time Traveller Kreta (2023) and Gukla (2024), and secured production support for the feature project Are You There? from Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Gürbüz is a 2013 EAVE graduate and a member of the Asia Pacific Screen Academy.
