Synopsis
Inés works as a seamstress in a workshop where she is periodically tested for pregnancy. When she becomes pregnant, she is sure that her condition will get her fired. She will do everything she can to keep it a secret.

Selma Cervantes
Selma Cervantes, an up-and-coming director whose films advocate human and social perspectives and female narratives. She became a member of the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences after receiving a nomination for Best Short Film for her project Manchester Acatitla. In 2023, her second short film, Sweatshop Girl, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The script was awarded a public grant for short films with the subject of labor rights thus making its shooting possible.
