Synopsis

The researcher investigating climate change decides to meet with people who make their living from nature and embarks on a journey across a vast region to explore different lives. Grounded in both social reality and scientific reality, the researcher strives to bridge the gap between the two. Believing that the only way to prevent the world from descending into disaster lies in this connection, the researcher constantly watches the clock, aware that time is running out.

Fatma Karakuş Kaçmaz

After graduating from Gazi University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 2003, she worked in the education sector as both a student counselor and a senior executive. In 2020, she resigned from her corporate job and turned to the world of cinema. Together with Serkan Kaçmaz, she started independently producing short documentaries for their YouTube channel. In 2024, she completed her feature-length documentary film, The Clock Without a Dial, which was adapted from her doctoral thesis. This film is her first feature-length documentary.
