
Synopsis
“Mommy’s Miracle” invites the audience to a journey where the effects of breastfeeding on babies and mothers are discussed from a scientific and psychological perspective. It aims to encourage mothers in their breastfeeding journey and raise awareness around them. After all, each case is an adventure that is a different story for every mother. Our documentary shows that mothers are not supported by their environment and policies and it also underlines this necessity.

Aslı Akdağ

Aslı Akdağ founded Kaliber Film Türkiye in 2011 with Mete Gümürhan, gaining expertise in international co-productions and project development. Her documentary film, Young Wrestlers (2016), premiered at the 66th Berlin International Film Festival, winning the Special Jury Prize, and received several awards, including Best Editing at Antalya Film Festival. Her debut fiction film, Moth, focuses on women’s existential struggles. She also produced My Mother’s Miracle, and This is an Undressing Story, addressing spiritual quests and symbolism. Aslı aims to create daring works focused on women and children.
