Houda Benyamina

French director, screenwriter, and producer. She came to prominence with Divines, which won the Caméra d’Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, was nominated for a Golden Globe, and received several César Awards, establishing her as a major voice in French cinema. Founder of 1000 Visages, she has long been committed to opening up careers in film to young people from working-class and rural backgrounds. She directed two episodes of The Eddy, Damien Chazelle’s series, as well as the documentary Salam about Diam’s. In 2025, she released her second feature film, Toutes pour une, a female reimagining of The Three Musketeers. Across film, television, production, and mentorship, Houda Benyamina champions a cinema that is free, popular, and powerful.
