
Synopsis
"An afternoon with Niki-Revekka" is a mockumentary dedicated to the great Greek woman poet Niki-Revekka Papageorgiou (1948-2000). On the 1st May 2001, five women visit the poet at her appartment in Athens. During their attempt to approach her personality and her poetry, each of them loses something and wins in a diferrent way from the one they expected.

Pavlina Marvin

Pavlina Marvin was born in Athens in 1987 and grew up in Hermoupolis, Syros. She studied History, completed her doctoral dissertation in the Department of Theatre Studies (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), and graduated with honors from the Department of Directing at the National Theatre Drama School. Her first book "Stories from My All Over My World "(Kichli Editions, 2017) was awarded the Giannis Varveris Prize by the Society of Writers. Her works have been translated into over ten languages. She was the initiator and coordinator of the first literary performance festival at the Thessaloniki International Book Fair (2017-2020). In 2025, she is collaborating with the National Gallery directing a performance based on the short story "The Oval Lady" by Leonora Carrington.
