
Synopsis
In a photography studio, a woman and a photographer struggle to capture an innocent portrait of the woman. As tension rises between them, new photographs reveal ambiguous truths about the woman, blurring the line between reality and perception.

Farzam Tabibi (1997) is an Iranian filmmaker whose journey in cinema began in 2020 through experimental, low-budget student films. His first short fiction “Childness” (2021) was selected and awarded at several Iranian and international festivals. In 2025, following the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, he made his second short “Portrait” outside official regulations with support from Tehran’s underground cinema. Following the post-production of this film.
