Synopsis
At the age of 80, Chiara, an immigrant, single mum and independent woman, sees her world crumble with the sale of the restaurant she built. Between memories and losses, she finds her strength by preparing the dishes that marked her story, rediscovering affection, autonomy, and the freedom to start again. Through food and friendships, she reconnects with her roots and rebuilds ties with herself and time. A Thousand Moons celebrates the power of old age and the courage to choose oneself.
