Synopsis
After the traumatic birth of her second child, Lykke’s seemingly idyllic life on a race horse studfarm in southern Sweden begins to fall apart. She develops postpartum depression, and the everyday routines of farm work and family care turn into an exhausting struggle. Instead of the closeness and joy she longed for with her newborn, she is overwhelmed by distance, doubt, and a growing sense of failure as both a mother and a partner.
