
Synopsis
Burned out by her job, New York-based architect Daphne travels to the Rhodope Mountains to claim a dilapidated house inherited from her 103-year-old grandmother, whom she never knew. As she uncovers the truth about her late Bulgarian father, she finds herself in conflict with her cunning cousin Orlin, who tries to take the house by concealing the valuable mineral spring beneath the land. Confronting her family’s hidden past, Daphne discovers an opportunity to reinvent herself.

Tatyana Pandurska

Tatyana Pandurska is a Bulgarian theatre and documentary director. She graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) and began her career directing numerous theatre productions, as well as television programs and documentaries for the Bulgarian National Television. After studying cinema at Paris 8 University, she founded her production company, Pandy Art Production, in 1997. Inspired by the real stories of centenarians living in the Rhodope Mountains, Wild Strawberries is her first feature fiction film.
