
Synopsis
This documentary takes a close look at the passionate fans of the Turkish TV series industry. The documentary focuses on the way fans feel they belong to the stories, to the point of interfering with the actors and even the flow of the script. As a result of this passion, fans launch social media campaigns against the scriptwriters and try to 'save' their favourite characters, showing how strong this attachment is. On the other hand, the comments made by industry representatives about the fans and the cold face of their professional world is another striking aspect of the documentary. Gül Abus Semerci

She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre and Writing. She directed three documentaries about the Gezi Park protests: "We Are the Park-Going Children of the Park-Wearing Generation," "I Beg You, Like Me," and "Who Killed Ceyar?" She is the author of three books: "My Dear Husband," "Hamdi Bey / A Knight in a Black Cloak," and "Urinal Anxiety." Her first poetry collection, "We Are Good on the Outside, But Our Internal Troubles Are Great," was published in 2024. She is the screenwriter of the film "Bathroom," directed by Mustafa Altıoklar. She has written the scripts for more than 20 television series, including "O Hayat Benim" (That Life Is Mine), "My Heart Remains in the Aegean," "Kırgın Çiçekler" (My Heart Remains in the Aegean), "Kırgın Çiçekler" (My Broken Flowers), "Aşk ve Mavi" (My Love and Blue), "My Siblings," "Kaderin Oyunu" (My Destiny's Game), and "Safir" (My Safir). The festival process of the documentary "We Made Many Dead This Spring" has begun.
