
Antonio Palumbo Terzo

Italian director Antonio Palumbo won the SNAD Italian Theater Festival in 2004 with Bossolo, which he wrote and directed. He made his film debut in 2010 with the black-and-white short Scusa. His 2015 documentary Varichina premiered at Biografilm and was nominated for the Nastri d’Argento.
In 2018, he directed the documentary Le donne e il ’68. His feature Nicola–Cozze, Kebab, Coca Cola (2021) received an award at SIFF 2022. In 2022, his short film Il vecchio e il muro won at Tulipani di Seta Nera and was presented at the 80th Venice Film Festival. In 2024, he directed a commercial for the Puglia Region in collaboration with CNN and BBC International. He is currently a professor of film directing and creative writing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari.
