INTERNATIONAL GOLDEN REEL FEATURE FILM CATEGORY JURY

Nesra Gürbüz studied International Relations at METU and received her MA in Cultural Studies from Bilgi University. She began her career as a producer in 2012 and participated in international platforms such as Sarajevo Talent Campus and IDFAcademy. She has presented her projects at co-production markets including Cinelink, Holland Film Meeting, Meetings on the Bridge, and Antalya Film Forum, receiving several awards.

She co-produced the Turkish-German film Sivas (2014), which won the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. The film Toz Bezi (2016), which she produced, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and received major awards at the Istanbul Film Festival. In 2019, she founded Monomit Film and completed her short films Zaman Yolcusu Kreta (2023) and Gukla (2024). In the same year, she received the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s feature film production support for the project Orada Mısın?. She continues to develop documentary, feature, and series projects.
