INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION AND EXPERIMENTAL FILM CATEGORY JURY

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pelin Aytemiz Karslı is a faculty member and head of the Department of Visual Communication Design at Yaşar University. She completed her MA and PhD in Graphic Design at Bilkent University and also holds an MA in Cinema and Television from Istanbul Bilgi University. Her research focuses on cinema, visual culture, photography, and the politics of everyday life, with publications in national and international academic journals.

In addition to her academic work, she has produced short films, documentaries, and visual storytelling projects. She has worked as a director, screenwriter, and assistant director, and her short film Forget Me Not has been screened and awarded at various festivals. She has also served as a jury member and selector at several film festivals, continuing her practice at the intersection of theory and creative production.
